Booking Terms & Conditions
Risk & liabilities:
We are committed to providing the best service possible in order to give you a once in a lifetime experience. We always put our best efforts into making your journey smooth and pleasant. All the services will be provided as per the agreement between you and us at time of booking; however all Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan trips are run strictly under their own policies and tourism authorities. Sherpa mountain journey Pvt. Ltd or its agent shall not bear responsibility for any change or cancellation of programmers due to unavoidable circumstances such as government restriction, land slide, road blockage, flood, avalanches, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay, sickness or accident, or breakdown of vehicle; any extra cost incurred thereof shall be borne by the client. It is strongly recommended that clients obtain full insurance.
Trip Cancellation:
Cancellation of a confirmed booking must be made by the client in writing, either in written documents or in an email. Cancellation shall be valid with approval from the company after receiving document. The trip shall then be termed as cancelled, and as a cancellation charge, 20% of the trip amount will be deducted from the advance paid. The company also has the right to charges all expenses made during preparation, i.e. staff advance payment, issued permit fees, flight ticket, hotel payment etc. Such amount will be deducted from deposit amount or client shall be required to pay if deposit amount is not sufficient.
Uncompleted Trip:
No refund will be made to any trip member in case of uncompleted tour, trek or expedition due to any reason.
Postponed Trip:
If our clients want to postpone the trip, written notification is to be sent at least 15 days prior to trip departure date.
Unforeseen Circumstances:
If we cancels your trip due to unforeseen circumstances such as war, natural disaster, conflict, unfavorable climate, etc., we would be happy to refer you to an alternative trip of a similar standard. If this doesn’t fit your personal interest, all monies paid by you to our company will be refunded. However, any other expenses incurred by you as a result of this booking are entirely your responsibility.
Travel Insurance:
Our clients must have a comprehensive travel insurance package. Their insurance must cover against medical, personal accident, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, loss of luggage and natural calamity, theft of or damage to baggage and personal effects, etc.
Flight Delay/Cancellation:
Flights by plane and helicopter are prone to cancellations and delays for notorious weather in remote areas, and sometimes operational complications may happen, in particular the Everest region, Annapurna region, Dolpo, Simikot, Jumla region, etc.
