Buddhist Circuit
This trip is to understand Buddhism after visiting world heritage sites in Kathmandu. The tour takes you to a place where immortal souls, such as Siddhartha- the Buddha, have taken birth to uplift the consciousness and bring the existing level of consciousness to be channeled in a new positive direction. Prominent, among the structures to be seen, is the Maya Devi Temple.
The structure was built later by Ashoka, one of India’s great rulers.
Itinerary
Day 01 Arrive
Upon arrival in Tribhuvan International airport, receive and transfer to hotel.

Day 02 Kathmandu
Breakfast at the hotel
Full-day tour of Kathmandu also called the ‘City of Glory’ and Swoyambunath Stupa, said to be one of the oldest Buddhist Stupas in the World. Thereafter transfer to Boudhanath, a Buddhist Stupa said to be one of the largest in the world.

Day 03 Kathmandu
Option: Transfer to domestic airport for Mt. Everest view flight. This is an enchanting 50-minute flight over the world’s highest mountain range where you can enjoy close-up views of Mt. Everest and other Himalayan giants.
Breakfast at the hotel
Full day excursion to Namobuddha (Hail of Buddha), according to legend, a prince discovered a starving tigress about to devour a boy. Out of compassion the prince offered his body to the tigress in the boy’s place. His remains are said to be enshrined in the main stupa. On return from Namobuddha, visit Bhaktapur city.

Day 04 Kathmandu – Lumbini
Breakfast at the hotel
Drive to Lumbini – 300kms (7hrs), is the birthplace of Lord Buddha, the apostle of peace and compassion.

Full day visit the Lumbini Sacred Garden

Day 06 Lumbini – Kathmandu
Breakfast at the hotel
Drive back to Kathmandu and check-in at hotel (option: fly back to Kathmandu with extra cost)

Departure transfer to international airport for onward flight.
