Mohare Danda and Ghorepani Trek is different from most other ways. The most beautiful track is magnificent views with combinations of dense bright vegetation of the tropics and snowcaps of Annapurna peaks. Mohare Danda Trek Route complexity
A Special training program does not need a hike for Mohare Danda and Ghorepani Trekking. Yet on the way will meet a lot of tests. If you are a sporty and seasoned person, confident in your own abilities, you will surely successfully overcome this route. You do not need to be a marathon runner or a master of sports. Debutants still recommend not to neglect the services of porters.
Detailed itinerary of Mohare Danda Trek
Day 01 Arivel Kathmandu
You will meet our office representative at the Kathmandu Airport. You will easily recognize him as he will be carrying “THE TREKKING COMPNAY” placard. He will then escort you to your trip Hotel in a private vehicle. At the hotel, after you have check in and got freshen up, we will conduct a small briefing session regarding your tour. After the meeting, we do not have scheduled any plans for the rest of the day. So, you can enjoy rest of the day doing anything you would like.
Day 02 City Tour
We will visit the rich cultural heritage sites of Kathmandu. The tour will start around 10 in the morning and finishes around 4 in the afternoon. We will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Bouddhanath stupa and Pashupatinath temple. All the places display beautiful ancient artworks done by our forefathers.
Day 03: Drive to Pokhara
Today, we are driving to Pokhara. So, we will wake up early in the morning, have warm breakfast and start our journey. The drive is about 5-6 hours depending upon the traffic. Overnight halt at the hotel in Pokhara. Breakfast is included.
Day 04 Drive to Ghaleshwoe and Trek to Bans Kharak
After breakfast in hotel we will drive you to Galeshwor via Beni. It takes about 4 hours. On your way, you will see the Kali Gandaki River and stop for lunch. Then, we begin our trek to Bans Kharka, crossing a suspension bridge over the world’s deepest gorge and keep continuing our trek through a forest until we reach our destination- Bans Kharka. Day 05: Bans Kharka to Nangi 2250m 5- 6 Hours
After breakfast we begin our trek to Nangi. It is about 6-7 hours walk from Bans Kharka. On your way you will visit beautiful villages, enjoy the views of the majestic mountains and impressive landscapes. You will also visit an organic farm school and meet the local villagers of Magar community in the village. Overnight stay at Eco community lodge
Day 06: Nangi to Mohare Danda 3300m 7 Hours
Today we walk through beautiful Rhododendrons, Oak and Bamboo forests enjoying the spectacular views of Mount Machhapuchre, Annapurna South, Dhaulagiri, Tukche and other peaks. In the evening, we will see glorious sunset view from Mohare ridge. Overnight stay at Eco community lodge
Day 07: Mohare Danda to Ghorepani 2750m Via Poonhill 3210m 5/6
Today we will walk through Rhododendron forest on our way to Ghorepani. The spectacular views of the Annapurna range from Poon Hill, making our climb a well worth. Overnight stay at a lodge in Ghorepani.
Day 08 Ghorepani to Chule 2120m 6/7 Hours
After breakfast trek to Chule. The hike starts with quite a steep uphill section to Deurali pass. It is a similar elevation to Poonhill. We will see all the mountains from here as well. After that, we hike down to Banthanti and up to Tadapani. We continue to Decent to Chule Thr (1939m, 6-7 hours walking) and then overnight at Lodge.
Day 09: Chule to Jhinu Danda Hot Spring 1760 M 5/6 Hours
Today the hike is not too strenuous. After an easy descent to the Kimrong Khola. Following another easy ascent the trail continues in a gentler manner so you can spend time taking in the surrounding countryside, local Magar and Gurung people, just before Chhomrung we decent Jhinu Danda. Before dinner why not take your tired body another 20 minutes on to the hot springs overlooking the river, creating a perfect backdrop for relaxation.
Day 10 Jhinu to Tolka
Today Route descends to the cross the Modi Khola at New Bridge and climb steeply to Landruk, with good views behind you we stop Landruk for lunch and 2 hour trek to Tolka. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, 1560M 5 hours
Day 11: Tolka to Austrelian Camp 1760m 5 Houes
The trail continues through scattered trees and bushes to the village of Baisikharak before beginning a steep and attractive two-hour ascent to Deorali. This bustling hilltop village looks back towards the high peaks with an extended view of the Annapurna from Dhaulagiri (8,167m/26,796ft: the highest peak in western Nepal) across to its right flank. It also offers scintillating views over the Pokhara Valley and Phewa Lake to the south overnight Australian camp.
Day 12 Pokhara
1 hour trek to Khare and 1 hour drive to Pokhara. Free day in Pokhara. See around Pokhara
Day 13 Fly Back to Kathmandu
You can take an option of flying back to Kathmandu from Pokhara and rest of team for shopping overnight hotel shanker
Day 14 Fly Back Home
You will meet our office representative exactly three hours before the departure flight. He will escort you to the Kathmandu airport in a private vehicle.
